We planned to take the family for Maui for our 25th wedding anniversary, but then changed it to Cabo. We were so excited and then Covid 19 hit. We ended up taking the family to San Diego. It felt so good to travel. We have been quarantined due to the Pandemic. We were grateful to go anywhere
We arrived Thursday June 25. While waiting for our rental to be available we went to Coronado.
Friday we spent the day at La Jolla Beach. The boys kayaked the caves while Kenzie and I enjoyed the sunshine. We toured Mount Soledad and drove around that evening.
Sunday we introduced to Dukes for breakfast. They weren't impressed. We took a Harbor Cruise, toured seaport village and at dinner at the Claim Jumper (Aaron's favorite).
Monday we played on Belmont Park and Mission beach. It was heavenly!!
Our last day was spent driving around the city. We drove by the San Diego Temple, ate lunch at
Liberty market, and got ice cream back at Seaport Village.
It was so nice to get away from all the stress of the pandemic and do something normal. Aaron is good to us all and spoils us. We are lucky!
