Miracles Still Happen
17 days no one knew if they were alive.
70 days they waited in Darkness .
Hungry, Homesick, Hopeful!
I can't stop watching the live footage as each miner is brought up
One by One.
Over and Over - it is the same reaction - and yet, I stop what I am doing.
I sit on the couch.
I turn up the volume
to listen to family members welcome their loved one back
in a language I can't understand.
And it makes me cry.

We are in Montana and we have watched it since last night. It is absolutely amazing!!
What??? Sounds like I need to start reading a paper, watching TV or listening to the radio. I must be missing a lot. Had no idea. Time to google it....(and yes, I am a believer in modern-day miracles, too)!
I have too, it is unbelievable and truly a miracle.
